• Before / After Care is provided as a service for The St. Michael School of Clayton community. Our Before-Care and After-Care programs allow for flexibility in parent drop off and pick-up times. TSMSOC faculty and college students help to run our programs to ensure proper check-in and monitoring. Before-Care starts at 7:20 a.m. and After-Care ends at 6:00 p.m.. It is a seamless drop off and pick up system that ensures the safety and comfort of your students. During this time, students will participate in group activities, crafts, receive homework support, and engage in free play.

    A sign-up link will be sent out for this service, but is not required for a student to stay. All students still in the building at 4:00 p.m. will be sent to After-Care and will be recorded for billing. Any student left in the building after 6 p.m. will be charged $10 per minute after 6.

    BEFORE CARE
    Before-Care runs from 7:20 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. Infant - 3rd-grade students must be walked into the building and sign in to Before-Care. 4th - 8th-grade students may walk in independently if a Before-Care worker is in view. 

    A $10 fee per child will be billed per use. We encourage parents to complete the registration link for this service before attending care. Before-Care starts after the first week of school. We do not offer Before-Care or After-Care during the first week of school. 
     

    AFTERCARE
    Aftercare runs from 3:45 p.m - 6 p.m daily.  No child will be released to anyone other than the parent without prior written authorization. Anyone authorized to pick up a child other than the parent will require a form of I.D. We encourage parents to complete the registration link for this service before attending care.
     
    An After-Care charge of $15.00 per child per hour, will be billed for the first child. The second child will be billed $7.50 per hour, and the third child is not charged.
     
    The 6:00 p.m pick-up deadline is imperative. The fine for late pick-up is $10.00 per minute late and must be paid before the student is allowed to resume participation in the Before/After-Care program. After-Care starts after the first week of school. No Before or After-Care during the first week of school. 
     

    HOMEWORK CLUB
    Homework Club is a service offered in coordination with our After Care program. Students that would like to use their time to focus on homework may do so in a quiet environment monitored by our college staff. The staff can help assist students with locating materials and connecting with teachers for clarification. This service lasts from 4:00 PM- 4:30 PM.

    ADVENTURE CLUB
    Adventure Club is a special program provided as a service to families who wish to have care for their child on the days that school is not regularly in session. Such days include Winter and Spring Breaks. Children enrolled in Adventure Club participate in a wide variety of activities including arts and crafts, games, dramatic play, stories, movies, time outdoors and field trips. Parents will receive notice of upcoming Adventure Clubs on the school website and will require a sign-up.
